Update: Alex Iwobi tests negative to Covid-19 in latest test

Nigerian forward Alex Iwobi has tested negative to the novel coronavirus in the second test conducted on him.

Iwobi was announced to have tested positive on Saturday in Benin Republic and was replaced in the lineup by Henry Onyekuru.

Head coach Gernot Rohr expressed pessimism on the result and said Iwobi could be available after the second test which he expects to be negative.

It remains to be seen whether he would be thrown into the starting lineup after missing the team’s training yesterday.
