FA Cup semi final: City draw Chelsea, Leicester to face Southampton

The semi final draw of the FA Cup was done during the halftime of the game between Leicester City and Manchester United  at the King Power Stadium.

Chelsea were drawn against Manchester City after both sides beat Sheffield United and Everton respectively. Chelsea beat Sheffield with goals from Hakim Ziyech and an own goal from Olivier Norwood with City’s goals coming from in form duo of Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gündogan.

Southampton beat Championship side Bournemouth 3-0 to set up a tie with Leicester City who beat Manchester United 3-1 with goals from Kelechi Iheanacho who scored a brace on either side of Youri Tielemans strike.

The semi final games would be played at Wembley Stadium on the weekends of April 17 and the final would be played on May 15.
