UCL QF and SF draw: 2018 and 2020 finals replay, Haaland audition at Man City
The draws for the quarter final and semifinal match-up of the 2020/21 UEFA Champions League was held this afternoon in Nyon, Switzerland.
Bayern Munich will lock horns with PSG in a repeat of last season’s final in Lisbon. PSG would hope to get revenge but under a new manager, Mauricio Pochettino.
Thomas Tuchel who lost last season’s final with PSG will take his Chelsea side to face Portuguese giant Porto after overcoming Atletico Madrid over two legs.
The last time Liverpool and Madrid met in the Champions League, it was the 2018 final which Madrid won 3-1. They meet again as Juergen Klopp would certainly want revenge.
Borussia Dortmund will face Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City. There are reported interest in Erling Haaland from the Citizens, as such his performance would be under the spotlights. It’s also a chance for Jadon Sancho to play his former club.
The winner of Bayern PSG would face the winner of Man City Dortmund in the semifinals while the winner of Chelsea Porto will face the winner of Liverpool Madrid.
