Jamal Musiala is very advanced for his age, says Kimmich

Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich has hailed young forward Jamal Musiala as a special talent, a player who thinks forward and a player well advanced for his age.

Musiala joined Bayern Munich youth teams from Chelsea and made his senior debut two games to the end of the 2019/20 season and has seen more minutes of actions this season, playing 17 times in the league.

He became Bayern Munich’s youngest Champions League scorer with his goal against Lazio at 17years 363days and Kimmich has revealed he has been impressed from Musiala’s first training session.

“Already in his first training sessions with us, you could see that he can really do something special,” Kimmich told Bayern TV, via Bundesliga. “He’s full of tricks, unpredictable and also very dynamic when it comes to controlling the ball – especially with his first touch. He always tries to take the ball forward.

“When I think about where I was at his age – I was still in my youth at VfB Stuttgart. He’s very advanced for his age. As a person, he’s very calm and reserved. I think he can and will look to come out of his shell even more as his self-confidence also grows.”

Musiala has pledged his international allegiance to the country of his birth, Germany. He represented England and Germany at your levels. He is expected to be called up to the German national team for this month’s international games.
