Halimat Ayinde’s 47th minute strike ensured victory against the Uzbeks as the Falcons maintained a perfect start to the tournament.
In the other group game, CSKA Moskva beat Equatorial Guinea 2-0. The Falcon’s next game is African rivals Equatorial Guinea on Tuesday at 9.00am Nigerian time.
