Super Falcons beat CSKA Moskva in Antalya Gold Cup opener

The Super Falcons of Nigeria opened their Antalya Gold Cup campaign in Turkey with a narrow 1-0 win over CSKA Moskva Women’s team.

The Falcons first outing in a year, the first under head coach Randy Waldrum ended in a victory after the Falcons held on to an eighteenth minute goal, tap-in by Chiwendu Ihezuo from a low cross by Oedega from the right.

The Falcons next game is on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 5pm West African time. Equatorial Guinea is the other team in the Falcons group.
