Waldrum signs contract as Super Falcons head coach, to be officially unveiled in Nigeria
Super Falcons head coach Randy Waldrum signed his contract today in a simple ceremony at Super Falcons’ Emir Hotel in Antalya, Turkey.
Waldrum’s appointment was announced last year and he would be unveiled ofticially as soon as he is in Nigeria as confirmed by NFF president Amaju Pinnick who also the urged General Secretary tto invite credible businessmen to have sessions with the players any time they are in camp, with a view to guiding the players on how to invest wisely.
“We believe that Mr Waldrum is the right man to take the Super Falcons from where the team presently is to that higher level that we want it to be. We have been champions of Africa on nine occasions and it is time that we move up to competing stoutly for honours at global level.” Pinnick said.
The Super Falcons are currently in Turkey for the Turkish Women’s Cup Tournament, also known as the Alanya Gold City Cup, which is Waldrum’s first outing with the nine times African champions.
