PSG confirm Neymar will miss Barcelona game due to injury

PSG have confirmed that star man Neymar will miss the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie against Barcelona at Camp Nou due to injury.

Neymar was forced off on the hour mark against Caen with what looked like an adductor injury and raised concerns he’d miss the reunion with Barcelona.

“Neymar Jr suffered a lesion to the left adductor on Wednesday evening. After analysis of clinical exams and scans, it is expected that he’ll be out for around 4 weeks depending on the evolution of the injury.” PSG statement reads.

Neymar faces a race to be fit for the second leg at the Parc Des Princes on March 10 and its a big blow for Mauricio Pochettino who also have Angel Di Maria out injured.
