Klaas-Jan Huntelaar rejoins Schalke 04 until the end of the season

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has rejoined Schalke 04 until the end of the season after terminating his contract with Ajax and will wear the number 21 jersey.

The “Hunter” joined to help his struggling former club secure safety in the Bundesliga: “We need to win games and score goals to climb up the table. I want to play my part in the club staying up. Schalke belongs in the Bundesliga and it’s our responsibility to make sure that we stay here.” he said.

Huntelaar, 37, played for Schalke between 2010 and 2017, he scored 126 goals and assisted 35 in 240 competitive appearances.
