Luka Jovic rejoins Eintracht Frankfurt on loan from Madrid

Real Madrid forward Luka Jovic has returned to former club Eintracht Frankfurt on loan until the end of the 2020/21 season.

Jovic joined Madrid at the beginning of the 2019/20 season for a reported transfer fee of €60m but has gone through difficult times at the club with just 2 goals in 21 league appearances.

During his two years in Frankfurt, he scored 36 goals in 75 games and won the 2018 DFB Cup. He also set the record for the youngest Bundesliga player to score five goals in a match when he scored in the 7-1 win over Fortuna Düsseldorf in October 2018.

With Madrid, he won the 2019/20 La Liga title and the 2019 Spanish Super Cup.
