Congo’s Silas Wamangituka named Bundesliga Rookie of the Month

VfB Stuttgart and Congolese forward Silas Wamangituka has been named the Bundesliga rookie of the month for November

The 1999 born forward played three games for Stuttgart in November, scored a goal and assisted another.

He clocked a top speed of 34.4 km / h and had the second-fastest sprint recorded by any Bundesliga player this season at 35.42 km / h.

Wamangituka was born in Congo and began his career in his hometown before moving to France, he signed for Stuttgart in August 2019 from Paris FC.

The Rookie of the Month award recognizes the best young player and Bundesliga newcomer each month.
