I hope I can play again soon and fight for Arsenal – Thomas Partey
Arsenal and Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey has expressed his desire to return from injury as soon as possible and help his struggling team.
Partey was out injured for weeks but was brought back ahead of schedule for the 2-0 loss to Tottenham in the North London derby but was subbed off at halftime due to the same injury.
He shared a post on his Instagram page describing the support he has received since he joined the club while also affirming his eagerness to return to action.
“Being part of the Arsenal family is something incredible for me, since the day I arrived I have felt so supported. The coach had a great influence in my decision to join this team and even though we had some bad results I know we are building something good together. I have had the bad luck to suffer an injury but I hope I can play again soon and fight for this team.” he posted.
Arsenal signed Partey from Atletico Madrid on transfer deadline day and he has had a mixed start to life in North London. Arsenal currently sit 15th on the EPL table with 13 points from 11 matches.
