Crystal Palace and Ivory Coast forward Wilfred Zaha was left out of the match day squad for the Eagles trip to Turf Moor on Monday night.

It has now been revealed that Zaha tested positive to coronavirus and is isolating according to guidelines. The incident left many football fans, especially FPL managers scratching their heads. Zaha is owned by 2,263,264 managers.

“He is awaiting the results of the next test. He is not feeling particularly ill, but unfortunately the test proved [positive], and he is following the procedures.” Roy Hodgson said.

Zaha could be available for Palace’s next game on Friday as they welcome Wolves to Selhurst Park.

As of the time of filing this report, Burnley are ahead at halftime thanks to a Chris Wood goal.
