Manchester City Defender Nathan Ake believes working with Pep Guardiola has improved his game a lot. Speaking ahead of Manchester City FC’s UEFA Champions League match, against Greek champions Olympiakos and asked if he thinks Pep Guardiola improves players, the Dutch international, who plays as a centre back said.
“I think so. I think that is also one of the reasons I came here to work under him and I have seen already in the first few months I have been that he works with players that he works with me as well. He shows me stuff what I can improve, he works with me on the pitch on that aspect. i feel like I am learning and that is a plus for me. As I said before, that is one of the reasons I came here to work with him and I see myself improving already. There is more to come.”
