For many African footballers, their status changes the moment they sign football contracts outside the shores of Africa. Their lives change for the better and the old times where they struggled to buy regular football shoes was a thing of the past. This, in most cases, leads to a change of character.
For Henty Ezekiel 25, who plays for Croatian outfit NK Osijek, he says: “My status has changed, but my character remains the same.” He told omasports exclusively in an interview.
