Nigerian defender, Leon Balogun got off to a good start at his new club Brighton Albion as he came on as a substitute in Brighton’s famous 3-2 home win against giants Manchester United.
The 30-year-old defender who joined Brighton from German Bundesliga outfit Mainz 05 in the summer, came on for Lewis Dunk at the 20th minute of the game after Lewis picked up an injury.
Balogun took to Twitter to thank fans of Brighton Albion for the warm reception.
Thanks everyone @OfficialBHAFC for the warm welcome. Couldn’t really have wished for a better debut in the EPL, beating ManUtd at home 🔵⚪️ #BHAFC pic.twitter.com/RSE54TX8BB
