Russia 2018: Gernot Rohr- We will be ready in 4 years time

St. Petersburg: Super Eagles handler Gernot Rohr has expressed his disappointment in his side’s failure to progress beyond the group stage. Nigeria narrowly lost to the much fancied Argentineans in what was a must not lose encounter for the African side. “It was a big disappointment because my team gave their best especially in the second half,” the tactician said. “We were just a few minutes away from qualification. But I’m proud of my players. “We lacked experience, we’re a young team and in four years they will be ready.”

The German went on the say he hopes to remain with the team. Rohr extended his contract to 2020 a few months ago.
