Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah believes the two teams in the 2017/2018 UEFA Champions League final have 50 -50 chances of lifting the trophy, come may 26th in Kiev Ukraine. Salah, who led his team Liverpool to reach the final after beating his former club, AS Roma 7-6 on aggregate, believes any team that reaches the final can win it. “The chance is 50-50 because you play in the final so it’s 50 50, now we have only one game to win it, to win the champions league. I said in the beginning, I said I wanted to win the champions league ” Salah said, while speaking on viasport, immediately after the final whistle in Rome.
The Egyptian international, who recently won the PFA player of the year award in England also talked about his return to the English premier league, after a not too successful first attempt at Chelsea FC.
“I always work hard to improve my self and to work on my weakness so, I think it is going well. When I came back I said I wanted to show everyone my football in premier league because I heard a few years ago many people said blah blah blah, that I did not succeed so I came back to prove them wrong, I am working good and I think I am doing well”.
The final game of this seasons’ UEFA Champions league will take place in Kiev, The capital city of Ukraine, on 26 May 2018.
Liverpool with 40 goals so far and Real Madrid with 30 goals as well represent the two highest scoring sides of the tournament this season.
Salah, who is the leading scorer in the about to be concluded Premier league season with 31 goals so far as well as 10 goals in the UEFA Champions League would be the man to watch in Kiev alongside, of course, Cristiano Ronaldo of Real Madrid, who leads the goal scorers chat with 15 goals so far.
