The Ezekiel Henty football league and FA Cup has come to an end for the season 2017, and the winner is Amunike Football Academy. The final match was played on Saturday, December 23, 2017, at the FHA football field in Fetac town Lagos Nigeria.
The winners, Amunike Football academy took home a cash prize of five hundred thousand Naira (N500.000) for the league and a hundred thousand Naira (N100.000) for winning the FA Cup. The runners-up got four hundred thousand Naira (N400.000), the first runner-up got three hundred thousand Naira (N300.000), the second runner-up got two hundred thousand Naira (N200.000). This is an event organized by the Henty sports foundation as a way of providing a platform for young talented footballers to showcase their talents and be rewarded.
“I am so delighted to have been able to pull this through, I passed through this stage and by the help of God, I am now a pro, this is why I am motivated to provide this platform for these youngsters in other to help them stay active as well as being rewarded. I will continue to do this as long as I live” says Henty Ezekiel, the convener of the Henty sports foundation, who was present at the event to present the medals and the cash prizes to the winners.
