Julian Nagelsmann “Agrees Term” with Bayern Munich To Replace Flick

RB Leipzig manager Julian Nagelsmann has agreed terms with Bayern Munich to take over the coaching role next season, according to BILD.

Hansi Flick will leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season amid reports he would take charge of the German national team which would be vacant after the departure of Joachim Löw after Euro 2020.

According to the report, RB Leipzig will demand €30m to release Nagelsmann but Bayern hopes to reach an agreement for something lower. Nagelsmann has also asked that his contract at Leipzig be terminated.

Nagelsmann, 33, began coaching in 2016 after his career was ended untimely due to injury. He spent three years at Hoffenheim before taking over t RB Leipzig in 2019.

He’s one of the disciples of Ralf Rangnick and is highly rated in Germany for tactical awareness. He has been linked to jobs across Europe, including Tottenham and Real Madrid, as well as the German national team job but has agreed to take over the Bavarian giants.

The managerial merry go round in Germany continues. Marco Rose will leave Gladbach at the end of the season to Borussia Dortmund, while Adi Hutter will leave Eintracht Frankfurt for Gladbach, now Nagelsmann to Bayern Munich.
