FC Barcelona and Getafe CF have reached an agreement for the loan of the player Carles Aleñá until the end of the 2020/21 season. The Madrid club will take over the player’s wages.
The midfielder has played 43 games for the FC Barcelona first team in which he has scored three goals. In the current season Aleñá has made five appearances for the first team, two in La Liga and once in the Champions League.
He progressed through the ranks at La Masia and made his first team debut in the Copa del Rey in the 2016/17 season. After two seasons split between the first team and Barça B he became an official first team player for the 2018/19 season.
In January 2020 he went on loan to Betis where he made 19 appearances scoring once and now the Catalan born midfielder will play the remainder of the 2020/21 season at Getafe.
