Arsenal defender Sead Kolašinac has returned to former club Schalke 04 on loan until the end of the season.
The Bosnian had fallen down the ranks under Arteta and opted to return to struggling former club to secure regular playing time.
Kolašinac was born in Germany and began his professional career at Schalke before moving to Arsenal in 2017.
He made over 100 appearances for Schalke and represented Germany at youth levels before switching allegiance to his home country Bosnia and Herzegovina.
