Ugandan national boxing team captain “Mando” shot dead

The former national boxing team captain, Isaac Zebra Ssenyange, 39, fondly known as Mando is dead.

Mando was shot dead early Wednesday at his home in Bwaise, Kawempe division in Uganda and Ugandan police have launched investigation into his murder.

Mando was a former boxer, coach and mentor to the youth of Uganda.

Charles Muhangi, the President of the Uganda Boxing Federation (UBF) expresses sadness at his murder;

“I am saddened by the brutal passing of my man, my friend, my everything. Till we meet again,” he wrote on social media.
