Pitso Mosimane wins CAF Champions League with Al Ahly

South African football manager Pitso Mosimane has led Al Ahly to a record 9th CAF Champions League defeating city rivals Zamalek 2-1 in the final.

Mosimane was appointed the head coach of the Egyptians on September 30 from South African club Mamelodi Sundowns and has won two trophies.

Pitso Mosimane won his first title with Al Ahly after winning the Egyptian Premier League for the record extending 42 times.

He has had an impressive start, winning five matches and drawing one against Pyramids. This is Mosimane’s 15th silverware as manager.
