Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger has congratulated Nigerian football fans on Nigeria’s qualification for Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria beat the Chipolopolo of Zambia in Uyo on 7th October to book a ticket with one game to spare.
“Congratulations to all the fans in Nigeria. I know that you are very very many and we are very proud that you qualified. On top of that of course, our player scored the goal for you and that makes us even prouder. Weldone and see you in the world cup and I am sure you will have a great trip.” Wenger said in a video (See Video)
Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi scored the only goal of the game in the 73rd minute after coming on as a substitute.
