Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana has emphasized that the pressure lies squarely on Manchester City ahead of Saturday’s Champions League final in Istanbul.

The 27-year-old Cameroonian, who has been linked with a move to the Premier League, believes that City is under more pressure than his team.

“We have nothing to lose. They have more pressure than us,” he stated. “We have to prepare well – we don’t have to stress – we have to go easy because we play against a very tough opponent.”

Having already secured the Coppa Italia with a 2-1 victory against Fiorentina in Rome, Onana acknowledges the challenging task that lies ahead for Inter, who finished third in Serie A this season.

“I’m feeling very good. I am so calm and so happy,” he expressed. “It’s a special game for us. The Champions League final may come along only once in life.”

Onana joins a distinguished group of Cameroonian players who have represented the Nerazzurri, including Pierre Wome, Daniel Boumsong, and the legendary Samuel Eto’o.
